Antique Silverplate Creamer and Sugar Bowl Set

Found at a countryside silver market in England, this antique Silverplate Creamer and Sugar set has the quintessential elegance that Victorian serveware is known for. A mix of pretty engraved scrolling flourishes and floral embellishments flow gracefully around the top and bottom edges of each piece, while an exuberant frame at center is lovingly hand-engraved with an elegant, cursive JM monogram. The interiors of both pieces gleam with a luxurious gold wash.

With its classic double-handled silhouette calling to mind a loving cup, the open sugar bowl would also make a gorgeous vase, while the creamer also seems destined for double-duty with a few stray blossoms or petite posy.
